LOS ALCAZARES is preparing for a full month of celebrations from October 4 to 25 to mark 42 years as an independent municipality. The town has a packed schedule of events for everyone, including music, food, games, and family activities.

Festivities begin with gala and concerts

The festivities start with the Gala, followed by live concerts, including a performance by the band Los Inhumanos.

A feast for food lovers

Food lovers can enjoy GASTROMAR, a food festival featuring local dishes, wine tastings, and cooking workshops like Little Chef sessions for children. The ‘Big Caldero Day’ offers a full day of traditional food and live entertainment along the seafront.

Family fun at Drilo Park

Families can visit Drilo Park, a large theme park with bouncy castles and games for kids.

Sports and competitions

Sports fans can watch traditional sailing races at Fishermen’s Beach or join the Regional Chess Championship. Surfers can take part in the Surfari Mar Menor competition.
