In the sunny heart of the Costa Blanca, Ice Queen Playa Flamenca has launched something that’s already catching local attention: a brand new all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

Tucked inside the ‘Centro Comercial’ of Flamenca Beach, this Netherlands-based, Belgian-influenced café is known for homemade ice cream, waffles, pancakes, and other sweet comforts.

On November 29, from 9:30am to 12pm, they’re inviting guests to slow down, breathe out, and enjoy a buffet designed for long, lazy mornings. Reservations are required, but once you’re in, the pace is all your own.

A Morning Feast with Belgian Soul

The buffet is crafted in the Ice Queen style – unhurried, generous, and proudly homemade.

Visitors can fill their plates with bread rolls, sandwiches, croissants, sweet pastries, scrambled eggs or sunny-side-up eggs, crispy bacon, and mini sausages. There are American pancakes with toppings, freshly cut fruit, charcuterie, cheeses, yoghurt with granola and honey, plus a revolving selection of mini desserts. It’s a spread that bridges Dutch and Belgian café culture with coastal Spanish sunshine.

Unlimited coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fruit juices set the tone: this is not a place to rush. The whole experience is built around comfort, conversation, and that feeling of treating yourself properly at the start of the day.

A Social Start to the Day

With indoor and outdoor seating and a warm, casual atmosphere, Ice Queen attracts a mixed crowd – locals, expats, holidaymakers, families, and brunch-loving foodies. It’s the kind of venue where people linger. Many come for the food, but they stay for the friendliness; it’s a natural spot to meet new faces over a second cup of coffee or a shared appreciation for good pancakes.

Open from 9:30am to 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday, Ice Queen remains one of Guardamar del Segura’s more inviting daytime options.

Their location at Calle de la Puerta de Tripoli 4 makes it an easy drop-in for residents and beach visitors alike. At €21.95 per person for the buffet, it’s also a solid value – particularly given the quality and the sheer amount of homemade items.

Whether you’re craving a hearty brunch, hunting for homemade Belgian treats, or simply wanting a relaxed morning with good company, the new breakfast buffet at Ice Queen is a cheerful addition to the Playa Flamenca dining scene.

It’s generous, sociable, and a genuinely pleasant way to start the day – one that invites you to take your time and enjoy every bite.

Spain is one of my favourite places to visit. The weather, the food, people and way of life make it a great place to visit.
