Solmarket Comes to Los Alcázares This August
THIS August, Los Alcázares will host Solmarket for the first time ever in the Region of Murcia. From August 7 to 31, Parque del Gonio will turn into a huge open-air space full of food, music, markets, and family activities, and it’s all free.
Evening fun in a huge open-air space
Open every evening from 7:00pm to 12.30am, the event covers more than 5,000 square metres and offers something for everyone. There’ll be 15 food trucks serving up a mix of Spanish and international dishes, with veggie, vegan, and gluten-free options too. One of them, Jenkin’s, was even voted Europe’s best burger in 2023.
Summer shopping and roaming performers
Visitors can browse 20 stalls selling summer fashion, handmade jewellery, candles, ceramics, and eco-friendly gifts. There’ll also be roaming performers, magicians, live artists, and plenty of music.
Activities for kids and families
For kids, there’s loads to do, from an outdoor cinema and circus school to sports zones and fun workshops. Each night ends with live music featuring covers of well-known hits by artists like Estopa, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and more.
A boost for the local community
Solmarket is part of the town’s push to bring more summer events to the area, support local jobs, and give everyone something to enjoy.
