The second annual San Juan Festival in Orihuela Costa is set to light up La Zenia from June 12 to June 30, 2025, with two weeks of spectacular evening events.
Organised by the Comisión de Fiestas Orihuela Costa, this traditional Spanish fiesta in Zenia Boulevard’s car park (in front of Leroy Merlin) promises a dazzling show of music, dance, gastronomy, and fireworks, celebrating the historic San Juan festivities with something for all ages.
Every evening from 9pm, attendees can enjoy live music, talent competitions, a fair and crafts market, a bonfire, and speciality bars serving delicious food and drinks. The festivities culminate on June 30 with a grand closing party and a spectacular fireworks display.
Festival Highlights
June 19: Dance performances by Energiser Dance, Wen Dance Studio, and Casa Chile.
June 20: The Festival of the Sun showcases acrobatic dance and live music from Like Dance and Music Harmony.
June 21: A parade by Modus Cuore, the coronation of the San Juan Queens, and a performance by Soberbia Malibu.
June 22: A “Day of the Child” with a children’s spectacular featuring Bambini and Walt Disney characters.
June 23: The festival’s main event, the burning of the Hogueras, includes a creative bonfire awards ceremony, a fireworks show, and music by DJ Gonza.
June 24: The Festival of Water and Joy brings a lively Verbena Musical with DJ Djayme.
June 25: “Remember Day” with 80s and 90s hits spun by DJ Paco Jhon.
June 26: Funku takes the stage for a concert.
June 27: A “Day of Culture” with dance and song by Musik Home and Step Up.
June 28: A Latin Festival with DJ Riquiton.
June 29: A foam party with DJ Jony Music.
June 30: The closing party wraps up the festival with a final fireworks display.

The San Juan Festival is an exciting show of Orihuela Costa’s community spirit, offering family-friendly events, children’s activities, and music to suit all generations.
