Following a hugely successful opening day that drew crowds of families to the new Christmas Park next to the Felipe VI Theatre, organisers have issued an official statement to clear up any confusion about entry fees and how the park operates over the festive period. The park uses a mixed model designed to keep it accessible while managing times of higher demand at weekends and on public holidays, so to keep don overcrowding and avoid lengthy queues for rides and food stalls.
Weekdays (Monday to Friday): completely free entry
Families can enter the park at no cost and simply pay for any rides or attractions they choose to use from Monday to Friday.
Weekends and public holidays: €5 general admission
On Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, a €5 ticket is required. However, this is not just an entry fee – the ticket includes one free ride on any of the mechanical attractions (the only exception is the ice-skating rink, which has its own separate pricing). There are slides, bumper cars, a carousel, bouncy castles, and kids can visit Santa in his Christmas House.
Organisers have thanked Estepona Town Hall for its support in launching this Christmas Park and expressed their delight at the “extraordinary welcome” from local residents on its opening day.
“The excitement of giving Estepona such a great Christmas park is what drove us to bring this project to life,” the statement read.
Looking ahead to the school Christmas holidays, the park has promised a series of new promotions, including specific themed days, additional free-entry dates, special discounts on attractions, and an expanded programme of children’s parties and entertainment. The aim, organisers say, is to make sure “nobody misses out on the chance to enjoy this experience.”
The Parque de la Navidad de Estepona is planned to stay open throughout the festive season next to the Felipe VI Theatre, Calle Diputado Ignacio, Mena, Estepona.
