Masons doing their bit to support essential food banks assisting families in need on Spain’s Costa Almeria « Euro Weekly News

THE Masonic Lodge of Almería 74 has been very busy donating food to the local food banks in Mojacar, Turre and Los Gallardos.
So far €200 of food has been donated to each of the food banks and this will be repeated over a period of five weeks. So all-in-all the Almeria 74 Masonic Lodge will be donating a total of €3,000 to these food banks.
At this present time many families in the area are dependent on the food banks due to the hardships caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Almeria Lodge decided to support the three local food banks as they have members who live in the three areas.
Lodge Charity Steward Vic Childe, Cath Ferrier and Charles Alman visited the food banks to present the donations to the food bank leaders.
