Mad for the Fab Four on the Costa Blanca? Then there is a treat in store as acclaimed Spanish Beatles tribute group The Liverpool Band prepares to deliver a special “Concierto de Reyes” (Three Kings concert) performance on January 3.

Formed way back in 1997 in Crevillent, The Liverpool Band has spent over 25 years perfecting their homage to the Fab Four. What started as a university party gig has evolved into a professional outfit famed across Spain for their meticulous attention to detail. The band members don era-accurate costumes, wield vintage instruments, and replicate the harmonies and arrangements that made The Beatles legends. Their authenticity has even earned them performances at the iconic Cavern Club in Liverpool.

Favourites on te Costa Blanca

Regular fixtures on the Costa Blanca circuit, The Liverpool Band has built a loyal following among locals and the large expat community. They frequently appear in venues across Alicante province, from Torrevieja to Elche, bringing nostalgic evenings filled with classics like “Hey Jude”.

“Yesterday” and “Let It Be”. Fans praise their energetic stage presence and spot-on vocals, often describing shows as the closest thing to seeing the real Beatles in action.

The upcoming gig, timed perfectly for the post-Christmas and Three Kings celebrations, kicks off at 7pm and promises an evening of timeless hits to extend the festive spirit into the new year.

The Beatles and Roscon de Reyes

With Spain’s Día de Reyes on January 6 drawing near, the concert offers a fab way to bridge the holiday season, ideal for families and friends gathering after the parades and roscón de reyes traditions.

The event will be hosted at the popular Restaurante Los Cucalos, a family-friendly spot known for its spacious layout, children’s playground, and track record of successful live music nights. The venue regularly features entertainment and has earned praise for its welcoming atmosphere, traditional Spanish cuisine, and ability to accommodate large crowds comfortably.

Reservations are now open and strongly advised, given the band’s draw and the venue’s popularity for such events.

The concert takes place at Restaurante Los Cucalos, Av. Montezenia 1 (Carretera a Villamartín, first roundabout on the left), Urbanisation Los Dolses, Orihuela Costa. For information and bookings, call 665 46 19 23 or 965 97 66 39.

Get ready to twist and shout—it’s going to be a hard day’s night worth staying up for!

Spain is one of my favourite places to visit. The weather, the food, people and way of life make it a great place to visit.
