A BRITISH man has been shot dead on the Costa Blanca with his bullet-riddled body being discovered by cops.
The 29-year-old was found in a home near to a popular holiday resort in Spain as police probe the horror murder.

An Alicante-based Civil Guard specialist homicide unit was placed on the case after the Brit was found at a residential property in an area known as Campoamor in Orihuela Costa just north of the tourist resort of Torrevieja.
His body is understood to have been discovered on December 21.
Local police are said to have been tipped off by friends that “something serious” had happened to the victim.
Civil Guard detectives are said to be treating it as a drugs-related crime.
No arrests have been made yet over the shooting.
A spokesman for the Civil Guard in Alicante confirmed today the force was investigating the “violent death”.
They said: “Officers were alerted about a body at a property in the Campoamor area of Orihuela Costa, around 9pm on December 21.
“They went to the property and found the body and obvious signs the victim had suffered a violent death.
“The dead man has been fully identified as a 29-year-old British national.
“The ongoing investigation is being led by the Homicide Team of the Alicante Civil Guard Command’s Judicial Police Unit.”
It comes just weeks after a Brit cheated death after being shot at least three times in an underground car park in the same area.
On December 11, around 15 bullets were reportedly fired at a 32-year-old British man’s car in a residential area of Orihuela Costa.
The victim was rushed to Torrevieja University Hospital and admitted to an intensive care ward.
The man targeted was later identified as a suspect in an armed robbery case which took place last year at a cannabis club in nearby San Fulgencio.
Police say they are investigating whether the two shootings are related but are yet to find any link.
Two Irishmen were also attacked out on the Costa Blanca this year.
In May, a man was critically injured after being shot in the head near to a shopping centre called La Zenia Boulevard.
Two suspects were arrested a fortnight later on suspicion of the attempted murder.
Then in June, a second 29-year-old Irishman was stabbed in the neck from behind close to the same shopping centre.
A 58-year-old Irishman was arrested over the knife attack in July.
