Roma’s winter transfer window could unexpectedly become complicated.

What until a few days ago seemed like a well-advanced negotiation for Giacomo Raspadori now risks stalling, despite the agreement already reached between the Giallorossi and Atlético Madrid.

Sources in Spain are reporting the change of scenery.

The only thing missing from the deal is an agreement between Roma and the player.

It is precisely on this point, however, that the greatest concerns emerge, relating to the true intentions of the 2000-born striker, which appear to be heading in a different direction than the Giallorossi management envisioned.

According to AS, Raspadori has no intention of leaving Atlético Madrid.

The striker is reportedly satisfied with his experience in the Spanish capital and, at the same time, annoyed that Roma and Atlético discussed his transfer before directly involving him in the negotiations.

If this story were to be confirmed, the situation would significantly change Roma’s transfer plans and sporting director Frederic Massara’s.

Raspadori is one of Gian Piero Gasperini’s most sought-after players, along with Joshua Zirkzee, and his failure to arrive would force the club to reassess their attacking strategies and objectives.

Spain is one of my favourite places to visit. The weather, the food, people and way of life make it a great place to visit.
