Eight police officers have been suspended following reports of alleged misbehaviour on a holiday to Spain.
Durham Police said a sergeant, six PCs and a special constable based in Chester-le-Street were suspended in October.
They face investigation into allegations that they failed to uphold standards of professional behaviour.
The force’s Professional Standards Department is carrying out the investigation into the officers’ behaviour while they were off-duty.
