THE 2025 edition of Albox’s All Saints Fair is promising to be an event like no other, with an extensive programme that will have local groups taking centre stage and a variety of fun activities to enjoy during the five days of festivities. The fair, a traditional celebration that will include cultural festivities, activities for all ages, music, food, merriment, and dancing, is a special time in Albox that showcases the municipality’s vibrant colours and rich tourism.
A traditional Albox festive event
The All Saints Fair will run from October 31 to November 4 and will kick off with an official Fair Proclamation by the five brotherhoods of the municipality, as the town criers. “The brotherhoods are a very important pillar for us; they do a great job during Holy Week, one of our town’s great tourist attractions. But this fair wouldn’t be complete without them. Historically, the brotherhoods have been present at our midday fair, which wouldn’t be what it is today without their work, involvement, and dedication,” said mayor of Albox, María del Mar Alfonso.
A fun-filled programme
With a programme for residents and visitors of every age to participate in, the event will feature orchestra concerts every day of the festivities, churros and snacks, folk dancing, a livestock fair, a partridge bird fair, petanque trophies, a round of darts, a ribbon race, a 4×4 exhibition, and a traditional paella offered on the last day of the event, November 4.
Not only this, children will have access to a playroom during the five-day festival, next to the municipal booth. A giant inflatable “Ninja Warrior” will be offered, and on Tuesday, known as Children’s Day, all rides will have reduced prices.
Talented musical performers
The brotherhood booth will be one of the highlights of the Albox All Saints Day Fair. On Friday at noon, it will officially open, and cover band concerts will be held every day. An alternative rock band, Ultraligera, will also perform on Friday at 11:30pm.
In addition to this, a young Sevillan band, La Cuarta Cuerda, who have made quite a name for themselves in local music scenes, will bring to Albox a fusion of flamenco, rumba, pop, rock, and singer-songwriter music.
Following a difficult period of heavy rains last year that led to the suspension of the All Saints Fair activities, locals are especially excited for this year’s edition to go off without a hitch and have fun in this special traditional event.
