Holidaymakers can save up to €450 on a range of sunshine and city breaks to beat the winter blues

Ireland’s leading online travel agent, Loveholidays, has launched its largest Black Friday sale to date, offering holidaymakers significant savings on package holidays, flights, and transfers. Offering money off sunshine holidays, long-haul adventures and city breaks, deals can be found online until December 2.

Customers can save up to €450 on selected holidays, based on bookings for four people. Prices start from €159 per person for a seven-night stay in Mellieha, Malta — a popular choice for those looking to escape the winter chill.

For the first time, Loveholidays is also offering extra discounts on selected flights and transfers. We’ve rounded up some of the highlights to help holiday makers get away for less.

With great prices on holidays in the New Yeas travel deals include a range of options across Europe and beyond. In Malta, holidaymakers can enjoy four nights at the Solana Hotel and Spa in Mellieha from €179 per person, flying from Dublin in January 2026.

Alternatively, sun-seekers can also head to Spain’s Costa Brava with four nights at Odissea Park from €189 per person in April, or to the Algarve in Portugal for seven nights at Luna Hotel da Oura from €219 per person, flying from Cork in January.

The Love Holidays Black Friday Sale is live now until December 2.

For a longer Spanish getaway, seven nights at Crown Resorts Club Marbella on the Costa del Sol are available from €249 per person, flying from Cork in March.

Anyone looking for some winter sun could consider Spain’s Costa del Sol, where they can snap up seven nights at Las Palmeras Hotel from €269 per person. Italy is also popular at this time of year with a trip to Tuscany at Ercolini E Savi available from €299 per person.

Meanwhile, the Aegean Coast in Turkey promises seven nights at the Ada Newday Resort Hotel from €359 per person.

For those looking further afield, Bangkok in Thailand provides a longer-haul escape with seven nights at the Royal Princess Larn Luang from €709 per person, offering a chance to combine culture, cuisine and warm winter weather in one trip. Alternatively try your luck on a trip to Vegas with a stay at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino starting from €509 per person, flying from Dublin in January 2026.

If a city break is on the cards, there are plenty of places to explore, even during the winter months. Prague is available with four nights at the ibis Praha Wenceslas Square from €179 per person, while Budapest offers four nights at the Grand Jules Boat Hotel from €199 per person.

Elsewhere in Germany, Berlin offers four nights at the Garner Hotel Berlin – Checkpoint Charlie from €209 per person. For those staying closer to home, Edinburgh features four nights at the Murrayfield Hotel from €209 per person.

If Loveholidays hasn’t got quite the right thing to satisfy travellers’ wanderlust, TUI has just released it’s Black Friday holiday deals with up to £200 off selected breaks with code BLACKFRIDAY. Elsewhere at Aer Lingus, winter sun holidays to the Costa de Sol start from €319 in January.

Back at Loveholidays, the Black Friday deals form part of a wider sale, giving Irish travellers the chance to secure discounted rates on fabulous holidays. Travellers who have already taken a trip with Loveholidays have left plenty of feedback on Trustpilot.

Not every customer was quite so impressed however, with one three-star review noting: “Not as cheap as it looks as there are alot of hidden expenses. It wont allow you to save your favourite hotels.”

Another holidaymaker who was impressed with the service they received, added: “I used them for the first time this year and what a great thing. I’ve already booked two more holidays with love holidays the team who I’ve had to email where absolutely fantastic to deal with. I will be booking all my holidays with love holidays from now on. Amazing!”
