Presented by Amans World Comedy, the charismatic “Honourable” Tom Houghton brings his highly praised new show “Deep” to Gibraltar on Friday, January 9, followed immediately by Malaga on Saturday, January 10.
Known for his razor-sharp wit and self-deprecating style, Houghton has built a massive following by turning his extraordinarily privileged yet delightfully absurd upbringing into a universally relatable comedy show. As the son of former Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir Nick Houghton, he famously lived in the Tower of London for five years – complete with ravens, Beefeaters, and bewildered tourists – providing him with endless material about class divides, identity, and modern life. His viral social media clips regularly rack up millions of views, while television appearances on Netflix’s The Circle, Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, and various hosting roles have solidified his reputation as one of the UK’s most engaging rising talents. The weekend begins on Friday at O’Reilly’s Marina Bar in Gibraltar’s Ocean Village. The popular Irish pub, with its traditional charm and stunning marina views, offers the perfect intimate setting for an unforgettable evening of stand-up. The show starts at 8pm, with doors opening earlier for drinks and settling in.
On Saturday, Houghton crosses to the other end of the coast for a performance at Sala The Hall in Malaga. The well-equipped cultural venue in the city centre, known for hosting quality live events, provides excellent sightlines and acoustics. The Malaga show begins at 7.30pm, making it an ideal night out.
