Jennie to Headline Spain’s “2026 Mad Cool Festival” — The Only K-pop Artist on the Global Lineup
Global artist Jennie will represent K-pop on the stage of the 2026 Mad Cool Festival in Spain.
According to the lineup announced on the 10th (local time), Jennie will headline the July 9 show at the 2026 Mad Cool Festival, which will be held from July 8–11, 2026, in Madrid, Spain. Notably, Jennie joins world-renowned acts such as Foo Fighters, Florence + the Machine, Twenty One Pilots, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds as one of the headliners—standing out as the only K-pop artist included in the lineup.
The Mad Cool Festival, first launched in 2016, is a massive global music event that features top-tier artists across various genres including rock, indie, alternative, pop, and electronic music. In past editions, superstars such as Muse, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lizzo have graced its stages.
Earlier this year, Jennie also made history as the first K-pop solo artist to perform on the Outdoor Theatre Stage, one of the main stages at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the U.S. Her captivating and powerful performance there once again proved her overwhelming global influence.
