A magnitude 3.7 earthquake shook the Costa Brava around midday on Thursday.

According to Spain’s National Geographic Institute, the epicenter was located near the underwater Fonera Canyon, situated between Begur and Palamós – specifically at latitude 41.8013 and longitude 3.8731.

Although the quake caused no damage, it was felt in various coastal towns.
