Siam Park has been honoured as the Best Theme Park in Spain by the Spanish Federation of Journalists in Tourism (FIJET España). This recognition, awarded by industry professionals, celebrates the quality of experience, excellence in management, and contributions to the country’s tourism positioning.

The accolade is part of the FIJET España 2026 Awards, with the decision made on 21 December following a deliberation and voting process by the jury. The federation has highlighted “the excellence in management at Siam Park and its contribution to promoting tourism, positioning Spain as a leading leisure destination.”
The official award presentation will take place during the next edition of FITUR, one of the primary international meetings in the tourism sector.

This latest recognition solidifies Siam Park’s status as an international leader in leisure activities. The park welcomed 1.6 million visitors in 2025, solidifying its position as a key tourism driver for Tenerife and the Canary Islands. Over the years, it has accumulated numerous international awards, including being named the best water park in the world by TripAdvisor.
Christoph Kiessling, Vice President of the Loro Parque Group, emphasised the importance of the award coming from the journalistic field, noting that it serves as “an incentive to continue innovating and providing unique experiences while respecting the environment and the destination.”

The park continues to evolve with new attractions and leisure formats. Notable additions include Saifa, a 306-metre double slide featuring state-of-the-art technology, alongside initiatives such as Siam Night and the modernisation of iconic facilities, reinforcing its leadership in innovation and visitor experience.
Miguel Ángel González Suárez, President of FIJET España, conveyed congratulations to the Loro Parque Group on behalf of tourism journalism professionals, underscoring Siam Park’s role as a national benchmark for quality leisure.
