Norwegian blues powerhouse Soft City will make their highly anticipated debut on the Costa del Sol when they headline Clarence in Torremolinos on Saturday, December 6. Fresh from the release of their acclaimed second album, Such a Nice Guy, the Oslo five-piece promise an timeless night of soul-drenched riffs, soaring vocals and electrifying stage energy.

From Oslo to the world stage

Formed in 2018 around a shared love of classic blues and soul, Soft City quickly established themselves as one of Scandinavia’s most exciting young acts. In 2021 they were named members of the prestigious Norwegian Blues Union Band at the legendary Notodden Blues Festival, and in 2023 they won second place at the European Blues Challenge.

The band represented Norway at the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, and took the opportunity to play iconic clubs across Mississippi and Tennessee – earning rave reviews for their passionate performances and virtuoso musicianship.

Critically acclaimed albums

Their 2022 debut, Settle for the Moon (Kirkelig Kulturverksted), received glowing reviews from major Norwegian outlets, including Dagens Næringsliv, Dagsavisen and Nævisen. The long-awaited follow-up, Such a Nice Guy, released in autumn 2025, has been praised by Nettavisen in Norway and international titles such as the UK’s Power Play magazine for expanding the band’s signature blend of traditional soul roots with bold, contemporary flair.
